Kidney Dialysis Center Project
Kuwait: Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA), the leading social welfare organization of Indian nationals in Kuwait has opened its third charitable KKMA Kidney Dialysis Center (KDC) in Malappuram district of Kerala State.
The KKMA Kidney Center, a joint venture between Kuwait based social welfare organization of Indian nationals and Shamsul Ulama Nadakkavil Hospital (SUMH) in Kerala was inaugurated on Wednesday, April 9th 2008 by Mr. Khalid Sulaiman Al Omar, Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Zain Telecommunications, Kuwait. The inaugural function held at SUMH was inaugurated by K.T. Jaleel, member of legislative assembly. K.P.A. Majeed, general secretary of IUML Malappuram district delivered the event's main speech. K. Siddikh, chief patron of KKMA, Sageer Trikarpur, chairman KKMA, N.A. Muneer, president KKMA also were present. The program was presided over by Dr. M. Govindan, president of doctors club in Malappuram. Mohammad Shameem, general manager of Burgan Al Kuwait, Salim Karuvambalam, chairman of educational standing committee of Malappruam district committee, and representing various organizations Abdul Majeed Baqavi, K.V Unni Krishnan, K.R. Balan were also present. Dr. Mohammadali, chairman of SUMH welcomed the audience. Mr. Al-Omar expressed his happiness to be part of such a socially important project in India. Zain COO also presented an appreciation award to KKMA in recognition of its social service in Kuwait and India. KKMA chairman Sageer Trikarpur, chief patron K. Siddikh and president N.A. Muneer jointly received the award in presence of a large number of KKMA officials and well wishers . The KDC Malappuram is a part of KKMA's visionary project to have one KDC in every district of Kerala State, India. The first of its kind center was opened at IQRAA International Hospital and Research Center in the city of Calicut in June 2006. In September 2007, the Association opened its second center at Daya General Hospital in Trichur. The Charitable Kidney Center Project is KKMA's visionary project to have one KDC in every district of Kerala State, India.

KDC Calicut
The first of its kind Center has been open in Calicut in the month of July 2006 in association with IQRAA International Hospital and Research Center.
KDC Trichur
A second center started functioning at Daya General Hospital in Trichur in the month of August 2007.
KDC Malappuram
The third of its kind Center has been open in Malappuram in association with Nadakkavil Hospital - Valanchery.
KDC Kankanady
The fourth of its kind Center has been open in Mangalore in association with Highlan Hospital - Kankanady.
KDC Kasaragod
The fifth of its kind Center has been open in Kasaragod in association with Care Well Hospital - Nullipady.
KDC Trivandrum
The sixth of its kind Center has been open in Trivandrum in association with Al Arif Hospital - Ambalathara.
KDC Kannur
The seventh of its kind Center has been open in Kannur in association with MM Hospital - Pappnisseri.
KDC Kottayam
The eighth of its kind Center has been open in Kottayam in association with Paret Mar Ivanios Hospital - Kottayam.
KDC Mangalore
The ninth of its kind Center has been open in Mangalore in association with St. Father Muller Hospital - Kankanady.

The tenth of its kind Center has been open in Wayanad in association with MES Hospital - Wayanad.
KDC Kundapur
The eleventh of its kind Center has been open in Karnataka in association with Vinaya Hospital - Kundapur.
KDC Alappuzha
The twelfth of its kind Center has been open in Alappuzha in association with Al Huda Hospital - Haripad.
EDC Kannur
In 2015 KKMA has initiated establishment of an Early Detection Center in Kerala and by the grace of Almighty Allah, we have opened the first EDC in the city of Kannur in August 2016.
